If you choose to purchase directly from us, please send us an email or fax with the product name, item number, quantity, and delivery address. We will then prepare a quotation for you, and if you agree with the terms, you can proceed with payment to the bank account listed on the quotation. Once we confirm the payment (prepayment required), we will process your order. If you prefer to purchase through an authorized distributor, please contact them directly.

What payment methods are available?

Our standard policy is prepayment via bank transfer; please note that we will arrange for the products only after confirming receipt of payment. We offer separate payment terms for distributors with whom we have an ongoing business relationship, so please contact us for details.

How do I request a quote?

Sharing design drawings, layout plans, or similar documents allows us to provide a more precise quantity calculation and quotation.

Is it possible to order custom tiles?

Yes, that is possible. We accommodate a wide range of custom requests, including tiles with patterns, tile-based art, custom-made tiles featuring unique colors or shapes, and eco-friendly tiles made from recycled materials. As feasibility and lead times depend on the specific requirements, please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on stock availability, quantity, and whether custom specifications are involved. We provide an estimated delivery date when issuing a quote, so please let us know if you require expedited delivery.

Can I receive a sample?

Please request samples via the contact form. Including the product name and model number will help ensure a smooth process. If the shipping address differs from the customer information provided, please also enter the delivery address.

Can I receive the BIM or CAD data?

Yes, BIM data is available for eligible products. You can download it from the catalog page.

How do I calculate the number of tiles needed?

Calculate the total by multiplying the area to be covered (m²) by the number of units required per square meter. We recommend preparing about 10–20% more than the calculated amount to account for offcuts and potential breakage.
If you provide us with your design drawings or elevation plans, we can calculate the exact quantity for you; please discuss this with us when requesting a quote.

How should tiles be installed?

Tile installation depends on factors such as the substrate, intended use, and environment. With a wide variety of adhesives and installation methods available, it's important to choose the best combination for your specific needs, which is why we recommend consulting a professional contractor.

Is it possible to lay tiles without grout lines?

We generally do not recommend installation without grout joints (butt-jointing). While there are often requests for this aesthetic, we advocate for the use of grout joints to ensure functionality and safety.
Grout joints are essential for accommodating the dimensional tolerances inherent to fired ceramic products and for achieving precise layout alignment. Furthermore, when the structure is subjected to stress caused by movement—such as swaying or distortion—the grout joints act as a buffer, preventing tile breakage or detachment.
From a maintenance perspective, the presence of grout joints facilitates localized repairs, thereby contributing to the overall durability of the building.

Is there an easy way to peel off the mosaic tile sheet paper?

We recommend using alkaline electrolyzed water, which breaks down the starch-based glue on paper-faced tiles, making it easier to remove the paper layer that can be difficult to peel off.

Uses of tiles

Can it also be used in areas where greasy dirt is a concern, such as the kitchen?

Yes, they can be used in the kitchen as well.
Glazed tiles, in particular, have a surface coating that resists the absorption of oil and dirt, allowing grease splatters to be wiped away easily.
While unglazed tiles offer an appealing texture, they are prone to absorbing oily stains; therefore, we recommend glazed tiles for kitchens and wet areas.

Will tiles used outdoors deform or fade?

As tiles are fired at high temperatures, they are highly resistant to deformation or fading caused by UV rays or heat.
However, accent tiles featuring decorative elements such as gold leaf or transfer prints may not be suitable for outdoor use.
Additionally, for cold regions, we recommend using tiles with low water absorption (Class I) to prevent frost damage.

Can tiles be used with floor heating?

Tiles do not obstruct the heat from underfloor heating systems and can also provide the benefits of far-infrared radiation. They are an ideal material for use with underfloor heating.

Can it be used if I have pets?

Since glazed tiles feature a surface coating, they are relatively resistant to scratches—such as those caused by claws—making them an excellent choice for households with pets. As slip resistance is a crucial factor for flooring, we also offer tiles with an anti-slip finish. Can picture tiles be used on the floor?

Thanks to our company's unique silkscreen technique, our picture tiles are suitable for floor use. If you are considering using picture tiles for floors or outdoor areas, we recommend choosing tiles that are printed with the silkscreen technique and fired using the "High Temperature Single Firing Method."

Can glass tiles be used on the floor?

Glass tiles should not be used on the floor.
Glass tiles are more fragile than other types of tiles and are prone to damage from impact, which can cause cracking or chipping. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid using them in floor applications.

Can mosaic tiles be used on the floor?

Yes, mosaic tiles can be used on the floor. Depending on the type of grout and grout joint width, even glazed tiles can offer improved slip resistance.
We recommend preparing a sample panel and testing it in the intended setting to assess its performance.

What types of tiles are there?

Tiles are classified under JIS standards (JIS A 5209) based primarily on the following three criteria:

Water absorption rate: Class I (3% or less), Class II (10% or less), Class III (50% or less)
Forming method: Extrusion molding, press molding
Glazing: Glazed tiles, unglazed tiles

Tiles with lower water absorption rates are harder and more resistant to the penetration of water and dirt. Class I tiles are commonly used for outdoor areas and wet areas, while Class III tiles are typically used for indoor walls and other locations subject to minimal stress.

Is there a standard for tiles?

We offer a wide range of sizes that harmonize well with architectural modules and brick dimensions, making them easy to adjust on-site while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

How long do tiles last?

The oldest known tiles, discovered in a pyramid dating back to the 27th century BC, are still on display today. You can enjoy your tiles for many years to come with complete peace of mind.

Don’t tiles get dirty?

Tiles can get dirty, but with glazed tiles, the glaze helps prevent dirt from soaking in, making them easier to clean. For unglazed tiles, it can be difficult to fully remove dirt, so any changes in appearance can be appreciated as part of their natural aging process.

The color of the tiles I received seems different from the photos or samples. Are they defective?

This is not a defective product.
As these tiles are created by firing natural glazes and clay at high temperatures, variations in color and texture (known as kiln effects) may occur between production runs or lots, even for the same product code.
This is a characteristic inherent to fired ceramics and is part of their unique appeal. For large-scale installations where color variation might be a concern, we recommend checking multiple sample tiles beforehand.
